Monte E. Kuligowski, Esq., is a private Virginia practitioner

and founder of the Legal Defense Center in Virginia Beach,

Virginia. He is dedicated to serving his clients on a personal

level and in a professional manner.

Attorney Kuligowski acquired significant work experience

prior to becoming an attorney and as such, he is able to

connect with his clients of diverse backgrounds. Clients are

made to feel comfortable in the office by his friendly staff and

atmosphere.

Mr. Kuligowski received his law degree from the Regent

University Law School, where he served on the editorial

board of the school's Law Review. He is a legal author,

having work published in the St. John's Journal of Legal

Commentary; the Duke Journal of Constitutional Law &

Public Policy; the University of Richmond Law Review; the

Virginia Journal of Social Policy & the Law; the Cumberland

Law Review; and the Justice System Journal, a peer-edited

publication of the National Center for State Courts.

Mr. Kuligowski has been a member of the Virginia State Bar

since 1997 and the bar of the United States Supreme Court

since 2003. He is also admitted in the Federal District Court,

Eastern District of Virginia and the U.S. Court of Appeals,

Fourth Circuit.

Mr. Kuligowski gained experience on the prosecutorial side of  criminal law in the Commonwealth Attorney's Office

Portsmouth, Virginia and in the United States Attorney's Office, Eastern District, Norfolk, Virginia as an intern and law clerk.
